A typical Day at Good As Gold Childcare Centre

A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

Sample Routine

07:30 - 8.30 Arrival and breakfast time
8.30 - 10.00 Let's play!  Staff play alongside the children whilst they engage in both free play and structured activities.
10.00 - 10.20 Registration and Music time.
10.20 - 10.40 Snack time after a visit to the bathroom.
10.40 - 11.00 Keygroup time
11.00 - 11.40 Outside play
11.40 - 11.45 Bathroom time
11.45 - 12.20 Lunch time followed by brushing teeth and washing faces.

Time to say goodbye to our morning children.

Feeling sleepy? Time for a nap!
13.00 Time to welcome our afternoon children.
13.00 - 14.00 Let's play again!  More free play and structured activities with staff.
14.00 - 14.20 Key group time.
14.20 - 14.40 Snack time after a visit to the bathroom.
14.40 - 15.20 Free play in the Rumpus Room and Messy Room.
15.20 - 15.50 Outside play
15.50 - 16.10 Story time
16.10 - 16.40 Tea time followed by brushing teeth and washing faces.
16.40 - 18.00 Free play in the Rumpus Room, Messy Room or Outside.
18.00 Nursery closes, time to say good bye until next time.
