Good as Gold is an OFSTED registered full day care pre-school nursery catering for up to 49 children between the ages of 0-5 years.  It was established in 1996 and is situated in a large detached house set in it's own grounds that tries to recreate the feel of a home environment.

Good as Gold is committed to providing the highest standards of childcare and pre-school education in a relaxed and happy environment which is safe and secure and allows all children the opportunity to develop skills, concepts and knowledge through play.

Good as Gold is staffed in accordance with government standards.  In the Baby Room we have provision for 12 babies (0-2) with a staffing ratio of 1:3. In the Toddler Suite we can cater for up to 37 children with a staffing ratio of 1:4 for 2 year olds, and 1:8 for 3 and 4 year olds.

Our Head Teacher holds a BA(Hons) Degree in Early Years and all Key Persons have attained level 3 qualifications in childcare, and all staff also hold First Aid qualifications and receive training in safeguarding children.
